34 Week Update

8 & 1/2 months pregnant - holy cow!  Where does the time go?
Adam & I went for our 34 week check-up yesterday.  Everything was great with Baby J.  I had only gained a pound since my last appointment.  I am still measuring 2 weeks ahead, so I measured at 36 weeks yesterday.  Baby J's heartbeat was in the 140's, and when the Nurse Practioner felt around- she thought Baby J was still breech.  
We will go on the 21st for our 36 week ultrasound- which will determine if Baby J is still facing the wrong way.  If he/she is - we will schedule our c-section for 39 weeks.  That means we could only have 5 weeks left.  As of today- I have 7 days left of work & I am ready (so our my feet).

Georgia Baby Shower

Last weekend- Baby J was thrown a shower in Georgia.  Momma Stafford & Aunt Ashleigh completely out did themselves & the shower was absolutely perfect!  This shower was really fun for me because I got to see all of my friends from High School, college, & my days at Roswell!  I miss all of my Georgia friends A TON!  Here are some photos from the shower:

32 Week Update!

Adam & I had our 32 week appointment yesterday!  Everything was great with Baby J.  Baby J's heartbeat was in the 130's & he/she was definitely stubborn for Dr. Hayes.  I measured BIG again - measuring at 34 weeks.  Dr. Hayes thinks Baby J is still breech, so we will most likely have an ultrasound at 36 weeks to see if Baby J has flipped head down.  If Baby J is still breech at 36 weeks- we will go ahead & schedule a c-section for 39 weeks!  That means we could only have 7 more weeks until Baby J has arrived.  I am completely ready to meet Baby J and to find out if Baby J is a BOY or a GIRL!

30 Week Check-Up

Adam & I went for my 30 week check up yesterday!  We had another ultrasound since I had been measuring big the last two appointments.  The ultrasound was great.  We saw the baby's fingers, face, feet, & legs!  Baby J is quite flexible.  The last two ultrasounds we have had Baby J has had his/her leg all the way up by his/her forehead.  (He/she does not get that from mom or dad)  Baby J's head was measuring was measuring a little big at 32 weeks (just what Mom wants to hear) and Baby J's legs were just a few days off measuring at 29 weeks & 5 days.  Some people were concerned after our 4D ultrasound about the umbilical cord, but it wasn't anywhere near the neck yesterday & the ultrasound check even showed us the blood flow.  The ultrasound pictures are really that great, so I am going to hold off posting.  After my ultrasound- I met with my doctor.  She just measured my belly & it was measuring at 31 weeks.  I did forget to mention that Baby J's estimated weight currently is 3lbs 6oz!  We go again the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  I am so excited about this coming up week because I get to go home to Georgia!  Cannot wait to see my family & friends this weekend!

Indiana Baby Shower

On Saturday November 5th - my sister, Katie, Amy, & Jen through Baby J an amazing baby shower.  The theme was of course jungle & it was PERFECT!  Baby J, Adam, & myself are completely overwhelmed with all the love & support.  Here are a few pictures from the shower!

4D Ultrasound

My parents really wanted us to have a 4D ultrasound, so we went to an ultrasound place (not my doctor) and had a 4D ultrasound.  Baby J is 29 weeks old.  It was a special day because Adam, Mimi, Grandpa Jerry, Avery, Grandpa Craig, & myself all got to see Baby J.  We got a lot of pictures and a 20 minute DVD.  Here are a few pictures of Baby J!
