Charles Reed Johnson

Charles "Reed" Johnson made his arrival Monday August 19th!  Mommy and Daddy arrived at the hospital at 5:30am for Mommy's scheduled c-section at 7:30am.  Everything went very smoothly and at 7:50 am Reed arrived.  At first we were told that Reed weighted 7lbs 15oz, but later on that night we figured out the scales were off in the OR, so we don't actually know Reed's birth weight.  We do know that at 9:00pm on Monday night Reed officially weighed 8lbs 9oz!  He was 19.5 inches long, so a little shorter than Camryn but a lot heavier!

He is extremely handsome and we think he looks a lot like Camryn.  The only two differences we see are the nose and the cheeks.  He has made a very smooth transition into the world.  He is very sweet and is learning how to nurse pretty well.  We hope he learns to like the right side very quickly though!
